Audit Leader – Corporate Accounting

About the role

TechBiz Global is seeking a dynamic Audit Leader to head its Corporate Accounting Department. The role involves overseeing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and driving continuous improvement of financial controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and review audit engagements to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Assess current financial practices and internal controls, providing improvement recommendations.
• Review financial statements for accuracy, completeness and IFRS compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
• Manage client deadlines in line with the annual financial calendar.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of audit working papers.
• Assign, review and mentor audit team members, providing performance feedback.
• Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication.
• Prepare management reports and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Liaise with corporate administrators, tax authorities and other governmental bodies.

Required profile

• ACCA qualification (completed or in progress).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of audit experience, preferably in a professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards.
• Experience supervising and mentoring audit staff.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English and Greek (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
