Network Engineer (Office Infrastructure)

About the role

Freedom Finance Technologies, a Cyprus-based fintech company and part of the international financial holding Freedom Finance, is expanding its IT Infrastructure team. It is looking for a Network Engineer to support, develop and modernize its corporate office network, which uses a centralized FortiGate core in the data center and MikroTik and Ubiquiti equipment at the office level. The role is fully remote, with daytime and evening hours according to Moscow time.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and develop the office network infrastructure (MikroTik, with Ubiquiti in several locations)
• Reconfigure network segmentation, optimize the infrastructure and remove bottlenecks
• Design and implement high-availability solutions for network equipment and WAN connectivity
• Deploy network monitoring systems and other services to simplify administration
• Maintain the corporate Wiki, keep network diagrams up to date and manage the IP address space (IPAM)
• Prepare and configure network equipment remotely for new office openings
• Work with ISPs and the data center network team, and troubleshoot network incidents

Required profile

• Strong MikroTik expertise: hands-on experience with RouterOS
• Solid understanding of UniFi and Edge products
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI model, routing, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls and NAT
• Experience with high-availability setups, including link redundancy and load balancing
• Ubuntu Linux administration and documentation tools (NetBox, phpIPAM, Confluence, Notion, draw.io, Visio)
• Monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, Prometheus/Grafana, Nagios or equivalents
• B2 English and excellent written and spoken Russian
• Nice to have: IP telephony (Asterisk), MTCNA/MTCRE/CCNA certification, FortiGate knowledge, Bash/Python/Ansible automation
