National Programme Officer – Regular Pathways and Integration

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a National Programme Officer to support and coordinate the Regular Pathways and Integration portfolio in Cyprus. Reporting to the Chief of Mission, the role involves overseeing project implementation, donor liaison, and capacity‑building activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Chief of Mission in developing, coordinating and monitoring operational, administrative and financial aspects of regular pathways projects.
• Prepare and disseminate project reports, proposals, press releases and other communication products in line with IOM and donor requirements.
• Liaise with donors, UN agencies, local authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
• Coordinate data collection, verification, analysis and update of information management systems and social media platforms.
• Supervise, train and provide technical guidance to project staff and undertake duty travel for monitoring and assessments.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Political/Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related field (or Bachelor’s with two years relevant experience).
• Experience working with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and vulnerable migrant groups.
• Fluency in English and Greek (oral and written).
• Demonstrated analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Computer/software literacy, including use of AI tools.
• Knowledge of IOM digital platforms and project management tools.
