Music Teacher (Early Childhood)

About the role

ICan Kids is looking for a passionate early‑childhood music teacher to join its kindergarten team in Limassol. You will use music to support social, emotional and academic development of young learners, following the EYFS framework and a Reggio‑inspired philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a respectful learning environment.
• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons that cater to diverse abilities.
• Differentiate instruction and use a variety of resources to enhance student exploration.
• Set up the classroom, organise equipment and maintain records of assessment, attendance and communication with parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, contribute to staff meetings and support kindergarten events.
• Act as a mentor for new staff on curriculum, schedules and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or a related field.
• Confident English speaker with excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Experience teaching elementary music, preferably in an international kindergarten setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Effective classroom management for early‑childhood students.
• Positive attitude, collaborative mindset and willingness to innovate.

Required skills

• Proficient ability to play at least one musical instrument.
