Mechanical Engineer – Site Engineer (HVAC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team, one of the largest companies. A mechanical site engineer specializing in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) oversees the installation, testing, and quality control of climate control systems on construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Oversee daily mechanical construction activities and manage on‑site HVAC subcontractors.
• Quality Control: Ensure all HVAC installations match approved drawings, project specifications, and local building codes.
• Technical Documentation: Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and maintain daily progress logs.
• Coordination: Work alongside civil, electrical, and architectural teams to prevent clashes and resolve site layout issues.
• Testing and Commissioning: Supervise system start‑ups, performance testing, and final project handover to the client.

Required profile

• Experienced Mechanical Engineer with a focus on HVAC.
• Dynamic professional able to work on large‑scale construction projects.
