Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Residences Limassol is looking for a Loss Prevention Officer. The role covers security patrols, monitoring of alarm and safety systems, handling emergencies and incidents, and maintaining the safety and order of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access
• Monitor closed-circuit television, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms and fire life safety system
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections
• Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid and CPR as required, and assist guests and employees during emergencies
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons off the property and call for outside assistance when needed
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and daily activity reports, and handle interruptions and complaints
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties
• Maintain confidentiality of all security and property reports and documents
• Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate their service needs and assist individuals with disabilities

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• No related work experience or supervisory experience required
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods and move quickly to respond to situations
• Able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds unaided and heavier ones with assistance, and to work in narrow, uneven or elevated spaces
• Some states may require additional licensing or registration
