Senior Security Engineer

About the role

Scorewarrior is an independent game studio based in Limassol, Cyprus, looking for a hands‑on Senior Security Engineer to design and implement security solutions alongside Infrastructure, DevOps, and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen cloud and infrastructure security in practice: secrets management, audit logging and controlled production access.
• Close high‑impact risks by assessing the current state and building a consistent picture of gaps.
• Implement secure‑by‑default solutions, automating security controls at the platform level.
• Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, DevOps, and development teams to embed security into their daily work.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing platform and infrastructure security solutions.
• Strong cloud security background, especially with GCP (AWS/Azure experience also relevant).
• Infrastructure background, possibly from DevOps, SRE, system administration or network engineering.
• Ability to explain risks with factual evidence and concrete scenarios.
• English and Russian language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Required skills

• GCP (deep experience), AWS or Azure.
• Scripting/automation: Python, Go, Bash.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
• Container and Kubernetes security.
• SIEM, SOC, AppSec (nice to have).
