Litigation Lawyer – Boutique Law Firm (Nicosia)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Litigation Lawyer to join a respected boutique law firm in Nicosia. The successful candidate will independently advise clients, draft court documents and support senior lawyers throughout the litigation process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for hearings, trials and other court proceedings.
• Draft and review pleadings, legal opinions, witness statements and other court documents.
• Advise clients on case merits, litigation strategy and prospects of success.
• Support senior lawyers in preparing and conducting court appearances.
• Liaise professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel and third parties.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding case progress.
• Stay up‑to‑date with relevant legislation, case law and procedural developments.

Required profile

• LLB (or equivalent) with a relevant postgraduate qualification (LLM) preferred.
• Qualified Advocate and member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in litigation, including legal drafting, research and court advocacy.
• Strong knowledge of Cyprus civil procedure and litigation practices.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail and high level of confidentiality.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to handle competing deadlines.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
