Junior Trade Support Officer

About the role

Tickmill, a multi-regulated broker founded in 2014 and employing over 330 people across offices in London, Cyprus, Poland, Estonia and Seychelles, is hiring a Junior Brokerage Officer in Limassol. The role sits alongside Business Development and Support teams and involves handling trade-related queries, complaints and technical issues, working with Compliance on high-risk cases and investigating irregular activity.

Key responsibilities

• Help Business Development and Support teams handle trade-related queries and complaints, resolving them in a timely and professional way
• Handle and escalate technical issues to the relevant departments
• Work with Compliance on high-risk complaints
• Carry out trade surveillance, investigate irregular activity across asset classes and report suspicious activity to Brokerage and Compliance
• Develop new tools to support daily operations
• Prepare competitor analysis and market research
• Produce complex reports required by management and regulators
• Perform additional duties and localized tasks as needed

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the FX and CFD environment
• Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a related field
• Fluent English, oral and written
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, attention to detail, positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Plus: CySEC Advanced Certificate and experience with Exchange Traded Derivatives

Required skills

• Experience with MT4 and MT5
