Junior Compliance & AML Officer

About the role

Tickmill, a multi-regulated broker founded in 2014 and employing over 330 professionals across offices in London, Cyprus, Poland, Estonia, Seychelles and elsewhere, is hiring a Junior Compliance & AML Officer in Limassol. The role monitors and ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards, within a high-caliber team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the company's activities, including websites, customer communications, live chats, marketing materials and operational processes, to identify and address potential compliance issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and give practical compliance advice to internal departments.
• Support client onboarding with KYC checks, AML screening, due diligence and risk assessments.
• Review and investigate alerts on potentially suspicious activity and escalate cases to the AMLCO where appropriate.
• Help develop, review and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures, including the AML Manual.
• Assist with regulatory enquiries, internal audits and ad hoc compliance reviews across the Group.
• Support staff training and guide colleagues on AML/CFT risks, obligations and awareness.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to internal stakeholders and perform other ad hoc duties assigned by the Head of Compliance or Senior Management.

Required profile

• A degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant professional experience.
• CySEC certification is an advantage; candidates without it who show a strong willingness to learn will be supported in obtaining AML and/or Advanced CySEC certification.
• Fluency in Greek and English, with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, responsibility, independence and teamwork.
