Tax Advisory Consultant (Assistant Manager/Manager)

About the role

PwC is recruiting a Tax Advisory Consultant at Assistant Manager/Manager level in Cyprus (Nicosia or Limassol). The role sits in the Tax Advisory Business Unit, where you will join a team that develops optimised tax strategies and structures to help local and international clients manage their tax functions and improve profitability. You will work on a diverse portfolio of clients across different industries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients while working with a multidisciplinary team on tax-specific projects and projects with tax components
• Advise clients on the tax implications of their business plans
• Perform tax diagnostic reviews to identify and address uncertain tax positions
• Act as the main contact for clients and maintain strong relationships
• Lead and mentor a team of junior staff, and share technical knowledge within the team
• Collaborate with Partners and Directors to identify business growth opportunities
• Stay informed about the evolving business landscape and coordinate with other service lines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant postgraduate or professional qualification in Accounting, Tax, Business, Economics or a related field
• A postgraduate law degree, LPC, BPTC or other relevant professional qualification is an advantage
• 4-6 years of experience advising on Cyprus and international tax matters
• Excellent English communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build strong client and internal relationships
