Head of HR – Limassol

About the role

We are seeking a strategic Head of HR to lead the people function for a fast‑growing physical‑AI robotics company based in Limassol. Reporting directly to the founders, you will shape talent acquisition, employee lifecycle, and HR operations across Cyprus and Germany while supporting the company’s mission to deliver trustworthy embodied AI.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for all functions, designing scalable hiring processes, interview frameworks and scorecards.
• Manage Personio as the central ATS and HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and process consistency.
• Build and oversee the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, performance management, development, and off‑boarding.
• Maintain HR compliance with local labour laws in Cyprus and Germany and lead GDPR compliance for all HR data.
• Partner with payroll providers, support visa and relocation processes, and define salary bands in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
• Act as the primary HR advisor to founders and senior leaders, develop HR KPIs, and communicate people initiatives across the organization.
• Recruit and develop a small HR team as the business scales.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in HR, combining generalist People Operations and Talent Acquisition.
• Proven track record of building HR processes in fast‑moving, technology‑focused environments.
• Strong knowledge of EU labour regulations, GDPR, and cross‑border HR practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to maintain confidentiality in a stealth‑mode setting.

Required skills

• Personio (HRIS/ATS) implementation and administration.
