Financial Services Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

EY Parthenon, the EY Cyprus team, is recruiting a Financial Services Manager/Senior Manager to join a high-performing, integrated team focused on transactions. The team advises clients on challenging and interesting projects, from inception to execution, covering sectors such as M&A, restructuring, banking and real estate transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and present a client's existing or proposed business, identifying strengths and weaknesses and documenting findings
• Identify key business drivers in a transaction and give clients insights, factual conclusions and advice
• Gather, verify and assess information and formulate views
• Plan, prepare and review deliverables such as written reports, presentations and client discussions
• Assist with proposal preparation for prospective clients
• Build internal and external networks and strengthen relationships within the team and across EY services
• Take responsibility for your own learning and development and coach or support other team members

Required profile

• Qualified, or in an advanced process of becoming qualified, as ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent; an MBA is an advantage
• Strong academic record, preferably in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
• Advanced business writing and verbal communication in Greek and English
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
• Ideally, experience in a similar transaction advisory environment

Required skills

• Strong financial modelling skills
• Data analytics skills using analytics tools and/or a programming language (ideal)
• Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
