Engineering Manager – KYC/Compliance Team

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our KYC/Compliance team. You will shape the architecture of a greenfield platform that verifies identities, integrates with external screening providers, and automates compliance decisions across more than 48 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing engineering team, supporting onboarding and career development.
• Plan, execute and allocate resources to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.
• Align engineering work with business objectives through close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Define and improve engineering processes, tools and technologies in partnership with the team.
• Build a developer community internally and represent the company at external conferences.
• Oversee the use of core technologies (Golang, Python, MySQL, Kubernetes) to ensure efficient development practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in engineering management with a strong software development background.
• Solid understanding of high‑volume, server‑client architectures and their constraints.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
