District Manager – Retail (Cyprus)

About the role

A leading retail company in Cyprus is looking for an experienced District Manager to oversee a network of 8‑10 stores island‑wide. You will be responsible for driving sales, developing store leaders, and ensuring a consistent, high‑quality customer experience across the district.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Store Managers across 8‑10 locations.
• Drive sales growth while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular store visits to maintain visibility and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, visual merchandising, seasonal plans and operational procedures.
• Monitor and improve KPIs, productivity and operating costs.
• Build a talent pipeline through recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and retention.
• Train Store Managers in leadership, performance management and people development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on store initiatives and new tools.
• Promote a high‑performance culture aligned with company values.
• Ensure adherence to local work‑environment regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑site retail teams.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to translate strategy into action.
• Demonstrated talent development and retention capabilities.
• Excellent planning, prioritisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, both remote and on‑site.
• Resilient, adaptable and solution‑oriented under pressure.
• High flexibility for travel and varied working schedules.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
• Valid driving licence.
