Data Engineer – Build Scalable Data Pipelines

About the role

Scope Markets is looking for a Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines and warehouse solutions that empower business intelligence, analytics and operational reporting across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Design, develop and optimise data models, data marts and warehouse structures for analytics and management reporting.
• Integrate data from trading platforms, CRM, payment providers, finance systems and third‑party sources.
• Build and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views and Power BI datasets.
• Monitor pipelines, resolve failures, performance issues and data inconsistencies.
• Implement data‑validation, monitoring and quality controls to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of dimensional data modelling and star‑schema concepts.
• Experience creating stored procedures, views and other database objects.
• Familiarity with data‑quality, validation and reconciliation practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with good English communication skills.
