Data Analyst - Cyprus

About the role

Tickmill, a multi-regulated broker founded in 2014 with offices in London, Cyprus, Poland, Estonia and Seychelles, is hiring a Data Analyst in Limassol. The analyst works mainly with stakeholders and Product Owners/Analysts to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners/Analysts to understand business requirements and support data-driven decisions.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to find trends, patterns and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations.
• Support data-driven solutions that improve business performance and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to analytics projects on product performance, client behavior, acquisition funnels and client lifecycle.
• Ensure data accuracy through validation and quality checks.
• Work with the BI team to improve reporting and analytical capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in finance/FX.
• Experience gathering business requirements and turning them into reporting and analytical solutions.
• Experience with cohort analysis, funnel analysis, segmentation, retention analysis and KPI monitoring.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Hands-on data visualization, Power BI preferred.
• Strong SQL and dimensional modeling, star schema consumption.
• DAX and Power BI data modelling.
• Plus: statistical analysis and A/B testing, basic machine learning, Python or R, financial services or FX data, data governance, Agile/DataOps, Databricks, market/benchmarking analysis.
