About the role

Nuvei is seeking a Contract Specialist to join its Legal Department’s newly created Legal Triage Team. The team handles a high volume of recurring commercial contract requests from the Commercial and Operations groups, using approved templates, playbooks, and AI‑assisted drafting tools. This is a process‑driven, detail‑oriented position that offers hands‑on experience with a wide range of commercial agreements in a structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and independently manage a queue of commercial contract requests from intake to delivery.
• Review incoming requests and accurately populate contract templates with specific terms such as parties, pricing, dates, and jurisdictions.
• Utilise AI‑assisted drafting and review tools, verifying output for accuracy before finalising documents.
• Identify requests that fall outside playbook parameters and escalate to in‑house attorneys following defined protocols.
• Track request status, turnaround times, and outcomes in the team’s reporting system.
• Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding request status and required information.
• Maintain accurate records in the contract repository, ensuring proper filing, version control, and metadata tagging.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with Legal Operations and business teams.
• Comfort with using technology‑enabled tools to streamline contract preparation.
