Consolidation Officer – Finance (Nicosia, Cyprus)

About the role

As a Consolidation Officer you will actively support the financial consolidation process, assisting the collection, validation and reporting of financial data from multiple entities. Working closely with the Group Reporting & Consolidation Manager, controllers and accountants, you will ensure data accuracy, identify discrepancies and help prepare internal and external reports.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of semi‑annual and annual consolidations at various group levels.
• Document calculation and posting of consolidation adjustments and cash‑flow statements.
• Collect and validate financial reporting packages from subsidiaries, following clear instructions.
• Follow up with local finance teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
• Assist in intercompany balance reconciliation and investigate mismatches.
• Provide audit support with documentation and explanations for consolidation entries.
• Coordinate annual report data gathering and ensure timely delivery of consolidated figures.
• Maintain and optimise financial master data and chart of accounts.
• Contribute to the development of the Group Accounting Manual and reporting improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, consolidation concepts and IFRS.
• Detail‑oriented with high accuracy and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication in English and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Finance & Operations (or similar ERP).
• Familiarity with consolidation software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP BPC).
