About the role

The Trainee Inspector will support cargo inspection activities on vessels, ensuring accurate measurement, sampling and quality checks of both dry and liquid cargoes.

Key responsibilities

Plan and conduct inspections according to work instructions
Perform quantitative checks of dry cargoes
Control liquid cargoes using tank calibration tables
Sample cargoes using various methods
Conduct quality checks and analyze cargoes with portable devices
Compile field reports and sign inspection documentation
Transport samples safely to the laboratory
Use measurement and sampling equipment properly

Required profile

High school diploma
Valid driving licence
IFIA certification for Inspector of Petroleum (desired)
Fluent English
PC literacy (MS Windows, MS Office)
