About the role
The Trainee Inspector will support cargo inspection activities on vessels, ensuring accurate measurement, sampling and quality checks of both dry and liquid cargoes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and conduct inspections according to work instructions
- Perform quantitative checks of dry cargoes
- Control liquid cargoes using tank calibration tables
- Sample cargoes using various methods
- Conduct quality checks and analyze cargoes with portable devices
- Compile field reports and sign inspection documentation
- Transport samples safely to the laboratory
- Use measurement and sampling equipment properly
Required profile
- High school diploma
- Valid driving licence
- IFIA certification for Inspector of Petroleum (desired)
- Fluent English
- PC literacy (MS Windows, MS Office)
