Trainee Inspector – Cargo Inspection

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Inspector to join our inspection team. You will support the planning and execution of cargo inspections on vessels, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct inspections according to work instructions.
• Perform quantitative checks of dry cargoes.
• Control liquid cargoes using tank calibration tables.
• Sample cargoes using various methods and transport samples safely to the laboratory.
• Conduct quality checks and analyze cargoes on‑board with portable devices.
• Compile inspection reports and sign related documentation.
• Use measurement and sampling equipment correctly.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Valid driving licence.
• Fluent English.
• PC literacy (MS Windows, MS Office).
• IFIA certification for Inspector of Petroleum – desired but not mandatory.
