Trading Compliance & Technical Specialist

About the role

IC Markets, a global trading group with over 15 years of experience, is looking for a Trading Compliance & Technical Specialist in Limassol. The role provides technical and regulatory support to the Compliance department across the Group's regulated entities, covering CFDs, Forex, shares and online trading. It is a full-time, on-site position, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.

Key responsibilities

• Give technical guidance on trading platforms, including MT4/MT5, configurations, plugins, bridges, execution settings and trading functions.
• Review trading conditions such as spreads, swaps, commissions, leverage, margin, fees, bonuses and P&L calculations.
• Check that actual trading practice and platform settings match client agreements, terms and conditions and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate the investigation and resolution of trading complaints, including execution issues, pricing discrepancies, P&L disputes and stop-outs.
• Analyse trading histories, execution records and platform logs, and prepare findings and recommendations.
• Support compliance monitoring, regulatory assessments and investigations on best execution, costs and charges and client protection.
• Work with Dealing, Trading Operations, IT and other departments to resolve issues quickly.
• Identify technical discrepancies and regulatory risks, recommend corrective actions, and advise on new products and platform changes.
• Produce guidance materials and train the Compliance team on trading systems and terminology.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in CFDs, Forex, dealing or trading operations.
• Experience investigating trading discrepancies and handling trading-related client complaints.
• Good understanding of the regulatory framework for CFDs, Forex and investment services.
• Fluent English; Greek is an advantage.

Required skills

• Hands-on knowledge of MT4/MT5, including execution mechanisms and trading data.
• Solid understanding of trading conditions, pricing, liquidity, fees, commissions, margin, swaps and P&L.
• Excel proficiency.
