Buy-Side Equity Analyst (Generalist) - Cyprus

About the role

TechBiz Global is recruiting on behalf of a client, an International Private Equity Fund, which is looking for a 2-3 year generalist buy-side analyst to cover US and European equities. The position is based in Cyprus.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse real estate and private equity projects
• Run and update financial project models
• Build models and presentation materials used internally and for partner and investor pitches
• Work with sell-side analysts, companies, partner financial analysts and investor relations
• Credit analysis of international bond issuers and watch-list modelling in Excel/Bloomberg
• International equity analysis for portfolio management, including equity watch lists
• Download and statistically analyse data to test historical investment ideas
• Carry out ad hoc assignments

Required profile

• Practical experience in financial presentations and in building financial models in Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• Knowledge of valuation methodologies and sector/company/project analysis, including SWOT analysis
• Ability to handle large data sets, find data in open sources and work accurately with quantitative data
• Ability to read financial technical documentation, research and financial statement reports
• Perfect command of English; Russian or another language is a plus
