Information Security Auditor – Audit & Assurance

About the role

PwC Cyprus is hiring an Associate Information Security Auditor for its Risk Assurance - Digital Audit team. The role supports clients by addressing IT risks as well as broader organisation-wide business risks, working alongside experienced practitioners who deliver assessments in IT governance, third-party assurance, regulatory compliance, IT risk and IT audits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing Information Security Audit projects as part of internal and external financial audits across a variety of industries
• Evaluate Information Security controls, identifying and assessing IT risks and controls
• Understand business operations and processes and recommend actions to address IT risks
• Attend client meetings, evaluate client evidence and apply critical thinking to reach conclusions
• Help prepare project deliverables and presentations for clients

Required profile

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, MIS or a related field; a relevant Master's degree is an advantage
• Non or up to 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of IT internal control frameworks and professional standards (e.g. COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL, NIST)
• CISA certification is an advantage; willingness to become CISA certified within the first year is expected if not already certified
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
