Supervisor, Linen Room

About the role

The Linen Room Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of the linen and storeroom areas within a hotel. You will oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory of all linen and related supplies while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue goods in line with accounting and storeroom procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with cleanliness, maintenance, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain staff discipline, morale, and performance; recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Supervise inventory of guest‑request items and the inspection, issuance, and storage of guestroom linen.
• Coordinate linen distribution to guest floors during periods of high occupancy.
• Collaborate closely with the supplies and rooms coordinator, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Housekeeping Manager on operational issues.
• Charge vouchers for missing linens, process transfer requisitions, and forecast linen, uniform, and supply usage.
• Ensure the work environment follows company policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience handling linen or storeroom operations in a hotel setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; professional training is a plus.
• Strong commitment to results, integrity, and discretion.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively in English, and maintain a high level of personal motivation.
