Player Assistant

About the role

The Player Assistant enhances the golfing experience by overseeing the on‑course caddy programme and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role acts as the main liaison between golfers and the golf operations team, providing support before, during and after rounds.

Key responsibilities

• Run the caddy master reception, garage, hire items, bag storage and staging area daily.
• Manage golfers on and off the course while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensure golfers follow course etiquette and pace of play according to company guidelines.
• Meet and greet all clients entering the premises.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise the experience for tour operators and clients.
• Keep rates, procedures and files up to date.
• Handle customer complaints and forward them to the appropriate personnel.
• Answer all phone lines to the caddy master reception using phone management software.

Required profile

• Excellent spoken English.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong verbal communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
• EU citizen or holder of an EU work permit.
