Senior Java Developer

About the role

FxPro is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join its fast‑growing IT department. You will work on core backend services that power the company’s fintech platform, collaborating with cross‑functional teams across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑performance backend services.
• Design and implement new functionalities following company standards for code quality, test coverage, TDD/BDD and performance.
• Identify, report and help resolve security vulnerabilities and technical issues.
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts and other engineering teams to deliver business‑critical features.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Java developer (Java 21+).
• Strong background with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in English; additional Greek or Russian is a plus.
• FinTech experience is advantageous.
