Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

MUFG Investor Services, which provides asset servicing solutions to the global investment management industry, is hiring a Senior Fund Accountant in Limassol. The role covers accurate transaction processing, NAV reporting, audit support and fee collection within fund administration.

Key responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately in the accounting system and understand their impact on the fund's NAV
• Prepare Net Asset Value packages and all supporting schedules for review by senior team members
• Assist in the audit process and prepare or review financial statements
• Meet deliverables and client queries according to the SLA
• Carry out processes in line with operational controls (SOC1) and complete all relevant checklists
• Suggest improvements to procedures and the client experience to more senior staff
• Ensure fees are billed and collected on time
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required

Required profile

• Post-secondary education with a concentration in finance or accounting
• Demonstrable experience in fund administration, including other administrators, investment managers or fund auditors
• Completion or interest in a professional accounting designation (CA, CGA, CMA, ACCA, ICAEW, CFA or equivalent) is an advantage but not required
