Senior Associate, Investor Delivery

About the role

MUFG Investor Services supports public and private funds with asset servicing and operational solutions, including fund administration, banking, payments, custody and regulatory services. Reporting to the Associate Director, the Senior Associate delivers high-quality operational services and client outcomes across a range of financial products and transactions, working closely with clients, investors, internal stakeholders and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution and review of daily operational activities so that transactions, cash movements, investor-related activities and reporting deliverables are accurate and follow established policies and procedures.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, handling day-to-day queries, coordinating deliverables and maintaining a high standard of client service.
• Monitor operational activities, investigate exceptions, discrepancies and issues, escalate risks where appropriate and support timely resolution.
• Apply knowledge of investment funds, financial instruments, payments and transaction lifecycles to support operational processes.
• Guide and support colleagues, share technical knowledge and help resolve operational challenges and client queries.
• Take part in departmental initiatives, process improvement and projects aimed at improving efficiency, controls, risk management and the client experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in financial services such as fund administration, banking, custody, transfer agency, asset management, wealth management, securities operations, payments or a related environment.
• Experience reviewing and processing financial transactions, investigating exceptions and ensuring operational accuracy and service quality.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.

Required skills

• Knowledge of investment funds, financial instruments, transaction processing, cash operations and regulated environments is an advantage.
