About the role

Reed Education is seeking qualified teachers to join Ministry of Defence (MOD) schools in Cyprus. These schools follow the UK curriculum and serve the children of UK military families, offering a unique chance to teach abroad while enjoying the Mediterranean lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the UK national curriculum to primary pupils (EYFS, KS1, KS2) or to secondary pupils (KS3) in Science or Music.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with school standards.
• Support pupils’s personal development and wellbeing in a close‑knit community.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and MOD staff to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.
• Successful MOD security clearance.
• Willingness to relocate to Cyprus for the duration of the contract.
• Experience teaching the relevant age range and subject (Primary, Science or Music).
