Pedagogy and Teaching Lead

About the role

Join an international team at Akelius Languages, an educational organization developing language and math learning applications, books, board games and other materials used worldwide. The position is based in one of our Cyprus offices (Nicosia, Larnaca or Limassol) and focuses on shaping the pedagogical direction of our products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, implement and continuously improve the pedagogical framework in collaboration with the Akelius Foundation and the founder.
• Introduce external partner organisations to our educational vision and integrate them into the framework.
• Oversee teaching activities from a pedagogical perspective, ensuring alignment with our non‑traditional methods.
• Develop engaging online and analog teacher‑training content.
• Review, edit and optimise the quality, accuracy and instructional effectiveness of our courses.
• Guarantee that all content meets high standards of language clarity, relevance and educational impact.

Required profile

• Degree in education, pedagogy or a related field.
• Open‑minded attitude toward non‑traditional pedagogical concepts and hands‑on experience with them.
• At least eight years of professional experience in pedagogy and teaching.
• Excellent knowledge of didactics, educational methodology, learning principles and teaching methods.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Passionate personality with strong organisational skills.
