People Operations Specialist – Nicosia

About the role

Wheely is seeking an autonomous and enthusiastic People & Workplace Operations Specialist to join its People Team in Nicosia. In this hybrid position you will nurture the IT Hub environment, manage daily office operations, support relocation and immigration, and provide end‑to‑end HR services for the Cyprus workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, maintenance and space enhancements at the Nicosia IT Hub while managing local budgets.
• Manage landlord and office supplier relationships, including procurement, contract oversight, invoicing and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate relocation, immigration and visa applications for international hires joining the Cyprus team.
• Administer the full employee lifecycle for the local workforce, ensuring effective onboarding.
• Administer employee benefits programs such as private medical, life insurance and corporate perks.
• Organise corporate events, all‑hands meetings and team‑building activities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in HR operations, office management or people operations within a fast‑paced environment.
• Hands‑on experience handling immigration, visa processing and relocation support in Cyprus.
• Exceptional organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with employees, vendors and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Greek is a strong plus.
