Payroll Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join a client’s team in Nicosia. You will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and ensuring compliance with local tax and statutory requirements in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll and related payments to employees, authorities, and clients.
• Ensure payroll compliance with Cyprus tax regulations and statutory obligations.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to regulatory bodies.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
• Coordinate with the payroll software provider to generate required reports.
• Monitor legislative changes affecting payroll and implement necessary updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in accounting or HR.
• Fluency in English and Greek.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in payroll or related finance functions.
• Experience with international or multinational companies is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
