Network Engineer – Low Latency Trading Infrastructure

About the role

Exness is looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain the ultra‑low latency network that powers its high‑frequency trading platform. The role is based in Limassol, Cyprus and offers full relocation support for you and your family.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Trading and Infrastructure teams to develop low‑latency network solutions.
• Design, deploy and operate L2‑3 networks across production and corporate environments.
• Perform traffic flow analysis, capacity planning and congestion detection.
• Ensure network reliability, latency predictability and disaster‑recovery readiness.
• Create automation scripts for repetitive network tasks.
• Document architectures, provide monitoring tools and support production hand‑over.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network design and operations.
• Industry certification equivalent to CCNP or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco (or Brocade, Huawei) switching and routing equipment.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, multicast, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
• Experience with latency‑optimized hardware such as Exegy XERO or Myricom.
• Knowledge of time‑synchronisation protocols (NTP, PTP) and high‑precision timestamping.
