Mid-Level QA Engineer – Hybrid (Nicosia)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer to join the User Experience & Product Acceptance team of a well‑established Cyprus‑based software company. Working closely with developers on web and mobile projects, you will ensure the high quality and reliability of digital products through thorough testing.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, review and analyse business and system specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to define quality criteria for each feature.
• Design, execute and analyse test cases for web and mobile applications across browsers and devices.
• Document testing phases, log defects and report bugs to the development team.
• Perform post‑release and post‑implementation testing.
• Identify key quality KPIs and prepare reports for senior management.
• Report to the QA Team Lead and work with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience as a QA Test Engineer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
• Analytical mindset with a detail‑oriented, methodical approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, SoapUI and WireMock.
• Experience using test management software.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to create clear, concise test plans and test cases.
