Marketing Director – European Market Expansion

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Marketing Director to lead our newly formed marketing team in Cyprus. This senior leadership role will focus on expanding the company’s presence across European markets, developing entry strategies and delivering measurable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the marketing function in Cyprus, providing leadership, direction and mentorship to a newly established team.
• Design and execute market‑entry strategies for new European territories, identifying opportunities, trends and competitive landscapes.
• Build tailored marketing plans for each market, considering local audiences, regulations and consumer behaviour.
• Lead customer acquisition, retention, brand and growth initiatives across new territories.
• Set clear KPIs, budgets and performance targets, continuously optimizing based on data and commercial results.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to align marketing with overall business objectives.
• Develop a high‑performing marketing team, establishing processes, structure and a strong performance culture.
• Manage external agencies, partners and suppliers as required.
• Oversee campaign planning, channel strategy, brand positioning and go‑to‑market activities.
• Monitor market performance, use insights to identify further growth opportunities and test new channels.

Required profile

• Significant senior marketing leadership experience within the iGaming sector.
• Proven track record of European market expansion and successful market entry.
• Strong understanding of acquisition, growth marketing and the customer lifecycle.
• Experience building, managing or taking over marketing teams in a start‑up or scale‑up environment.
• Commercially minded with a clear link between marketing activity, revenue and profitability.
• Data‑driven decision‑making with strong analytical abilities.
• Experience managing sizable marketing budgets and performance KPIs.
• Excellent knowledge of diverse European markets and ability to adapt strategies to local audiences.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
