Legal Counsel (Intellectual Property)

About the role

Exness, a global fintech trading broker, is looking for a Legal Counsel (IP) to strengthen its Intellectual Property and Brand Protection Division. You will maintain and enhance the IP portfolio, work on related contracts and help handle defamation-related cases, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the trademark and copyright portfolio, including new registrations, renewals, oppositions and defences
• Manage the domain name portfolio
• Draft and negotiate contracts
• Monitor and enforce against online brand violations, manually and through vendors
• Develop and monitor internal procedures and support administrative legal tasks

Required profile

• University degree in Law (LLB and/or LLM)
• Minimum 4 years of legal experience, in a law firm or in-house
• Experience with high-stakes, copyright-heavy, software-related contracts and with combating online defamation
• Hands-on experience with international digital companies
• Fluent English, spoken and written
