Junior Audit Specialist – No Experience Required

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Audit Specialist to join a growing audit team in Nicosia. This entry‑level position offers a supportive environment where you can develop audit, accounting and advisory skills while working on diverse client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in external audit engagements across various industries.
• Perform audit procedures in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Assist in preparing financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Conduct analytical reviews, document findings and support audit report preparation.
• Review financial information to identify inconsistencies or risks.
• Collaborate with senior auditors to ensure timely and accurate audit completion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1–2 years of audit or accounting experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to pursue ACCA qualification.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
• Proactive attitude with keen attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
