Indirect Tax Advisory Lawyer – Associate Level

About the role

Join PwC's Indirect Tax Advisory team in Nicosia as an Associate Lawyer, supporting local and international clients with VAT, customs and other transaction tax matters. This role offers professional growth, coaching and sponsorship for the ADIT qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with indirect tax advisory projects, including VAT, customs and other transaction taxes.
• Advise clients on tax implications of business transactions, restructurings and strategic decisions.
• Support VAT registrations, compliance obligations and indirect tax reporting.
• Conduct tax reviews, diagnostic assessments and risk analyses.
• Perform legal and technical research on legislation, regulations and case law.
• Draft tax opinions, memoranda, reports and client communications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and global teams on cross‑border projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Law; Cyprus Bar exam completion is an advantage.
• Highly motivated, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and deliver results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
