Hardware Support Engineer – Data Center

About the role

Gcore is looking for a Hardware Support Engineer to maintain and support data‑center equipment, troubleshoot issues and keep an optimized stock of spare parts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and proactive maintenance tasks on server equipment located within the data center.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, data‑center personnel, and customers to address hardware‑related issues and ensure efficient resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of hardware configurations, changes, and issue resolutions.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of hardware maintenance processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT with a focus on hardware support.
• Excellent understanding of server architecture and PC hardware components.
• Proven experience diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware issues to resolution.
• Basic Linux/Unix knowledge and familiarity with fundamental networking concepts.
• Ability to independently identify and implement solutions for hardware‑related challenges.
• Strong multitasking and time‑management abilities.
• Proficient English (at least intermediate level).
