Engineering Manager – Grocery

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Grocery technology team. You will be responsible for building high‑performance, scalable systems while mentoring a talented group of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Grocery engineering team, supporting onboarding and career development.
• Plan, execute, and allocate resources to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.
• Align engineering work with business objectives through close collaboration with product and stakeholder teams.
• Define and improve engineering processes, tools, and technologies in partnership with the team.
• Foster a developer community internally and represent the company at external conferences.
• Oversee core technology stack—including Golang, Python, MySQL, and Kubernetes—to ensure efficient development practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in engineering management with a strong software development background.
• Deep understanding of high‑volume, server‑client architectures and e‑commerce challenges.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality.
• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
