Doorman – Guest Services at Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Doorman delivers a high‑quality customer service experience, welcoming and assisting guests as they arrive and depart from the hotel. This frontline position ensures a smooth, courteous, and memorable first impression for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile, acknowledge arrivals and departures, and provide prompt, professional service.
• Assist with luggage handling, open and close hotel and car doors, and coordinate valet parking.
• Direct traffic at the porte‑cochère and maintain a safe, orderly driveway environment.
• Retrieve guests' luggage from vehicles, label it, and transfer it to the Bell Desk for delivery.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, events, gaming, spa, dining, and entertainment.
• Maintain product knowledge, promote guest loyalty, and build positive relationships.
• Keep the work area clean, report equipment issues, and adhere to all company policies.
• Participate in scheduled training and perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Doorman, Door Attendant, or similar role in the hotel industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent professional training.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Professional written communication abilities.
• Fluent command of both Greek and English.
