Deputy CFO – Digital Bank

About the role

An international financial group is seeking a Deputy CFO to lead the finance function of its digital bank. Reporting to the CEO and Group Head of Finance, you will oversee planning, reporting, regulator relations, risk management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CEO and functional managers in building business plans, priorities and forecasts with ±5% accuracy.
• Own accurate monthly and quarterly consolidated IFRS reporting, both internal and external.
• Manage relations with the banking regulator and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Lead risk management, internal controls, policy standardisation and process improvements.
• Oversee project accounting, inter‑company transactions and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Drive initiatives to improve ROIC, working capital and overall growth performance.
• Build and lead a proactive finance team serving internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in bank finance, including senior roles such as CFO, Deputy CFO, Head of Finance or Financial Controller.
• Hands‑on experience with monthly and quarterly consolidated IFRS reporting.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and business planning alongside the CEO.
• Direct experience working with banking regulators on reporting, capital, liquidity and inspections.
• Experience building risk‑management, internal‑control and compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
