Department Manager - Nicosia

About the role

H&M Group is hiring a Department Manager for its store in Nicosia, Cyprus. This is a full-time, permanent position within the Store Team, working alongside Sales Advisors, Store Managers and Visual Merchandisers, and connecting with the wider Area Team. The manager leads the team, supports an inclusive culture and delivers an outstanding customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver an excellent customer experience through high operational and visual standards, while promoting and selling the products
• Monitor sales performance, identify commercial opportunities, set goals and plan to optimise results, profits and stock levels
• Manage team planning and scheduling, and ensure smooth opening and closing routines
• Recruit, onboard and develop the team in an inclusive, collaborative way
• Stay up to date on fashion trends, customer preferences and competitors
• Represent the brand positively in all customer interactions

Required profile

• Retail management and operations experience
• Expertise in sales planning, analysis and follow-up, using customer-centric tools and reporting
• Strong, confident leadership with a solution-focused mindset
• Interest in fashion trends, commerciality and competitor insights
• Effective communicator, flexible, analytical and able to handle numbers and statistics
