Aviation Dispatcher – Offshore Oil & Gas Operations

About the role

The Aviation Dispatcher will support offshore and onshore oil & gas activities in Cyprus, ensuring safe, efficient and cost‑effective flight operations. This temporary assignment lasts 12–24 months and requires fluency in Greek and English.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise aviation operations, including flight planning, passenger and cargo logistics, and manifest preparation.
• Manage flight dispatch activities, monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with HSE and aviation safety standards.
• Coordinate aviation contractors, airport/heliport operations and interface with offshore assets and logistics teams.
• Support emergency response such as MEDEVAC, SAR and evacuation missions.
• Maintain aviation documentation, reporting and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, Aeronautical Science, Logistics or equivalent technical aviation background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation operations, flight dispatch or aviation logistics, preferably in offshore oil & gas helicopter operations.
• Fluent in Greek and English.

Required skills

• Flight planning and weight & balance calculations.
• Knowledge of ICAO, EASA and IATA aviation regulations.
• Aviation logistics and cargo handling.
• Coordination of aviation contractors and airport/heliport operations.
• Experience with offshore helicopter dispatch and emergency response procedures.
