Corporate Paralegal (Maternity Leave Contract)

About the role

Nuvei, a global fintech that builds payment infrastructure, is looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join its global Corporate Legal Team. The role suits someone with at least 5 years of corporate law experience who is resourceful, autonomous and efficient, able to handle several matters under tight deadlines and to work both independently and with board members, committees and senior management. It is a 9-month maternity leave contract.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, attend and coordinate board and committee meetings
• Prepare legal documentation for the various boards, including agendas and minutes, and support other corporate secretarial matters
• Draft and review resolutions, minutes and incorporation documents
• Prepare documents for corporate and tax reorganizations
• Create and maintain model resolutions, delegations and standard legal documents
• Review and organize corporate records, files and registrations for entities in the Nuvei group
• Support corporate filings such as business name registrations, annual filings and certificates of good standing
• Assist the Compliance Team with regulatory filings and KYC requests

Required profile

• Law degree or diploma in paralegal studies (or equivalent certification)
• At least 5 years' experience in an international law firm or in-house in a multinational, or across Asia-Pacific or European markets
• Experience working with senior management and board members
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
