Junior Compliance Policy and Governance Officer

About the role

SkillOnNet, a group of iGaming brands including PlayOJO, DruckGluck, BacanaPlay, Genting and others, is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join its Compliance team as an Associate Policy & Governance Officer. The role supports the Head of Compliance in reviewing, drafting and implementing compliance policies and procedures across several international jurisdictions, helping to strengthen the company's policy and governance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support the review and analysis of gaming laws, regulations and guidance across jurisdictions such as MGA, UKGC, Ontario, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal and Spain.
• Assist in drafting, maintaining and updating compliance policies and procedures, especially in Marketing, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Safer Gambling (SG).
• Maintain the policy management system and keep it aligned with internal governance frameworks.
• Work with AML, Safer Gambling and Marketing Compliance teams to ensure policies are implemented effectively.
• Monitor regulatory developments and prepare concise reports on key updates and their potential impact.
• Keep accurate records, version control and document tracking for all policies.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Policy & Governance Department.

Required profile

• Ideally 1-3 years of experience in compliance, policy, legal or risk management; gaming industry experience preferred but not essential.
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as law, finance, risk management or a similar discipline (e.g. ICA, ACAMS, legal studies).
• Foundational understanding of regulatory compliance, governance or licensing obligations.
• Familiarity with B2B or B2C gaming operations is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Confluence-Jira (optional) and task management tools such as Click-Up or similar.
• Research and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills.
