Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator (Nicosia)

About the role

SAUR is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join its team in Nicosia, Cyprus. The role involves maintaining the electromechanical equipment that keeps the plant running efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and mechanical faults.
• Inspect, maintain and support pumps, motors, valves, blowers and other plant assets.
• Assist with equipment installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Record maintenance activities and equipment failures in the CMMS.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in electromechanical roles within wastewater treatment plants.
• Good knowledge of water‑industry equipment.
• Ability to repair simple electrical faults.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑player able to work on‑site in Nicosia.
