VAT Compliance Specialist – Tax & Legal Services

About the role

PwC is seeking a motivated VAT Compliance Specialist to join its Tax & Legal Services team, working on projects for both local and international clients. You will receive training from VAT experts, gain exposure to advanced technology, and collaborate with colleagues across the PwC network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver VAT compliance projects for local and international clients.
• Prepare VAT, ESL and Intrastat returns.
• Communicate with other service lines and attend meetings or calls to gather necessary information.
• Complete tasks on schedule, meeting deadlines and work plans.
• Collaborate with both local and PwC network teams.
• Identify opportunities to introduce automation in work processes.
• Receive ongoing coaching to continuously improve skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field (other degrees considered with LCCI Higher or equivalent).
• Up to 2 years of relevant work experience; data‑analytics tool experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent numerical ability, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
